An elaborate presentation of 22-karat gold-plated symbols and mirrors frames a rose silk-tufted cushion upon which are posed a pair of cloth dolls with artistic hand-painted faces and Brittany costumes of man and woman. The six-sided central mirror is edged in graduated gold bead shapes and has a hand-painted design of wild-flowers. There are six rectangular mirrors representing the number of years of the engagement. Gold-plated symbols with very fine quality of pressing include 22 oak leaves symbolizing longevity of the union, five daisies with gold centers, and four daisies or sunflowers with glass garnet centers. There is a winged dove with wreath of harmony, and gold-plated sheaths of wheat representing the gift of life. The arrangement is further decorated with four large hand-pressed and hand-formed large bisque flowers with exquisite detail and nine smaller bisque flowers. The bride's wax orange blossom wedding bouquet is attached. The presentation is on its original ebony-finished wooden base with blown glass dome.
