Description
Five photographs, each about 8" x 10", portray the large family gathering at a wedding, the young couple posed at the center front, their parents alongside, the young nieces and nephews posed in the front row, and other family members arranged in rows or clusters. The family residence (or a barn) is visible in the background, and the various styles of costume, indicating social position and affluence, are quite evident. Each has the indicia of photographic studio. French, 1885-1920.
