The symbols include dove with wreath of harmony, 14 flowering leaves, 10 oak leaves symbolizing faithfulness, two trapezoidal mirrors, two ellipsoidal mirrors, central mirror, and one rectangular mirror indicating a fairly short engagement of one year. Personal mementoes include the wedding gloves of both bride and groom, the bride's orange blossom earrings, a photograph of the bride and groom, dated 1928, and a large framed drawing of the young couple based upon that same photograph and signed by the artist.
