Description
20" x 14" (51 x 36 cm). A rich red velvet basket-shaped frame with scalloped design and curved handle encloses a red silk tufted cushion. Decorating the basket are two generous sprays of hand-pressed and formed white bisque petaled flowers with silk leaves. Resting upon the cushion is a small bouquet of wax orange blossoms, while two additional small bouquets are attached to the handle and back. The presentation rests upon ebony-finished wooden base with blown glass dome. French, circa 1915.
