Description
A petite slant front table organ of walnut wood has an inlaid double-banded border of alternating ebony and boxwood. The wooden music cylinder, measuring 10 1/2" wide by 3" diameter, is spirally pinned with three sprightly melodies. The ten key organ movement contains open pewter pipes and stopped wooden flute pipes; there are 30 pipes in all. Each pipe rank has a manual pull stop at the left side, and there is a tune selector lever on the right side. There is a program card on the inside of the lid. Circa early 19th century.
