Description
A heavy silver-plated box is decorated with elaborately raised scroll designs interspersed with perched or winged birds, on all sides, top and bottom. The center opening oval has a beautifully scrolled frame centering the design of a bird with spread wings edged by a cornucopia on either side. When keywound with silver bird shaped key, and start/stop lever (in the shape of a bird) is released, the lid pops open and a beautiful multi-feathered bird pops up from its gold filigree bed with bird outline. The bird turns side to side, flutters its wings, and opens and closes its beak while chirping and trilling.
