Description
A silk-covered cardboard candy box in the shape of a mandolin, with lithographed paper front, handle, strings, silver mount, and silk sttraps, has a drawstring top candy sack at the back. Hidden inside the mandolin is a usic box that operates from a key wind at the side. The quality of music is very nice. The presentation is luxurious, imaginative and perfectly preserved. Circa 1885.
