Description
6" - 18". Three dolls representing man, woman and child, are of hand-pressed porcelain with individual details of sculpted accessories. The baby is all porcelain with jointed arms and wears a gold cap with decorative green serpent and lavish gold collar and beads. The man is porcelain to waist, with porcelain arms and lower legs, muslin midriff and upper legs; his headdress is decorated with coiled serpent, there is a falcon on his chest, and he wears extensive gilded jewelry. The woman, with shoulderhead turned sharply to the right wears a gold beaded coronet decorated with sea horse and winged bird; she wears extensive colored porcelain jewelry. The woman is hand-signed "Egyptian" and each doll has Redmond signature logo.
