16". Carved wooden head with well-defined carved features including eye brows, dimples, ears, eye sockets, and charming crooked nose, natural finish enhanced by soft cheek blush, painted upper glancing eyes, grey mohair wig with bun, soft muslin body, wooden hands with spread fingers, wooden lower legs with sculpted black heeled shoes, white cotton blouse with brooch, black skirt, pantalets, signed "Patti Hale NIADA "84". The sculpture was made by California artist, early NIADA member, in 1984 who wrote "I make dolls to recreate life around me in miniature, frozen in time."
