19". Wax over porcelain shoulder head doll portraying a young child, has blue inset eyes, dreamy expression, slightly parted lips, brunette mohair wig, muslin body with gusset- jointing to allow sitting or standing, wax over porcelain lower arms and legs, wearing rose silk dress with tiny rose applique petals, undergarments, stockings, shoes, signed "1989 Brigitte Starezewski Deval, Kleinkind klein 27/100, To Monica" on body, and signed by the artist on the head. The doll was made by the Italian artist, Brigitte Deval in 1989 from a series of 100 dolls.
