Description
14" (36 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead with very pale complexion, brilliant cobalt blue glass eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, pierced ears into head, blonde lambswool wig, kid gusset-jointed poupee body. Condition: bisque excellent, some body wear. Marks: F. 1 G. (low on back shoulderplate). Comments: French, Gaultier circa 1860. Value Points: rare to find early marked poupee with beautiful bisque and eyes, presented in early wooden box with various costumes.
