22". Carved wooden head with uniquely carved features, darkened complexion, brown painted eyes, beaming smile with painted teeth and carved dimples, black tightly curled hair, cloth body of tiny blue and white checkered muslin, carved wooden hands and bare feet, wearing cotton checkered shirt with wooden buttons, black short pants with suspenders, woolen cap, spectacles, black bow tie, signed "c. 1986 Nancy P. Bruns, 38 Malcolm Cherry", original cloth tags "Brunswood Doll" and "Malcolm" on costumes, and original paper booklet indicating that Malcolm was made of cherrywood. The doll was given an Award of Excellence in 1990.
