Description
18". Fired-composition shoulder head portraying young lady, with artistically painted facial features, outlined and shaded eyes, outlined lips, fringed brow, light freckles on blushed cheeks, auburn mohair wig, firmly stuffed fabric body, fired-composition shapely arms and legs, bare feet, wearing linen one piece garment, with original paper label hand-lettered "doll No.2". The Munich doll artist is noted for art dolls made of all-leather (see #153) or a special fired-composition of her own formulation. Each doll is individually made. The artist has been creating dolls since 1975, and her works are in various museums including Musee des Arts Decoratif in Paris.
