Description
21". Portrait doll of slender adult woman, made entirely of bisque and sewn leather, fine sienna brown complexion, featuring an adult woman with slender face, elongated throat, artistically painted facial features, swivel waist, jointed shoulders, needle-sculpted leather lower torso and upper legs, wearing rich costume of colorful fabrics, and posed upon a leather covered stand. Standing alongside her is an 11" child with fleeced hair, painted features, jointed arms and legs, bare feet, and she holds a 4" all bisque baby with jointed arms, and bent baby legs. Each piece is signed by the artist,Helen Kish, and numbered 12/25, 1989. The set was created by the American artist in 1989 in a numbered edition of 25.
