Description
18". Of molded felt with distinctively modeled features, broad nose bridge, eye laughter crinkles, hand-painted features, jointed at shoulders and hips, St. Nicholas has very full and fluffy white mohair wig, moustache and beard. He is wearing a moss green felt tunic over woven pants, tall brown felt boots, brown felt neck scarf, maroon felt hooded coat with faux-fur edging, and carries a cross and paisley velvet gift bag. The doll has Wright stamp on its foot and paper label "R. John Wright St. Nicholas No.225", and is contained in its original labeled box. The model was produced in 1979-1981 in an edition of 250.
