8" (20 cm.) Tosca wig with curls and bangs, non-walking five-piece body, wearing tagged blue polka-dotted gown with organdy lace-edged ruffle and drawn ribbon at the hemline, tulle sleeves, matching sunbonnet with sprig of flowers, lace-edged pantalets and ruffled petticoat, socks, black side-snap shoes. Excellent condition. Alexander, 1953, color variation of the more commonly found pink costume, the model was inspired by the popular children's series of Madeline books by Ludwig Bemelman, first published in 1939.
