Pressed bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, almond shaped dark blue glass enamel inset eyes, mauve blushed eye shadow, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented and shaded lips, separately modeled pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid gusset-jointed body with stitched and separated fingers and toes. Condition: generally excellent, small repair to kid on left arm. Comments: Pierre-Francois Jumeau, circa 1875. Value Points: deluxe quality portrait in grand size with exemplary pale bisque, gentle expression, original sturdy body, beautiful antique costume.
