Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, grey glass inset eyes, painted lashes, incised eyeliner, brush stroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French wooden fully-articulated body, metal hands, dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips and knees, swivel waist. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Huret 5 Rue de la Boetie (impressed on back torso). Comments: Maison Huret, the head circa 1865, the body also by Huret albeit of a later era. Value Points: very beautiful and elegant Huret lady with signed Huret body, wearing antique gown of royal blue silk, bonnet, undergarments, leather shoes, blue silk wooden-handled parasol, blue drop earrings.
