Fifteen one-piece all-porcelain dolls posed as young children in sturdy standing pose with arms outstretched, hands in small firsts, sculpted hair and painted facial features representing a wide variation in hair styles, costuming, and quality of production. Of significance is the largest, a pink-tinted boy with extraordinary detail of sculpting of body features, facial expression, ears, and dimpled buttocks (left arm reglued); four black models, two with modeled chemises, (the largest with reglue at neck and foot),an unusual pink- tinted girl with brown ringlet curls; a chubby boy with curl in the middle of forehead, and others. Excellent condition, except as noted. Germany, 1870-1900.
