22" (56 cm.) Pressed bisque socket head with very pale bisque, large blue glass enamel inset eyes, thick dark eyeliner encircles the eye socket, dark painted lashes, widely feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with modeled tongue tip, shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose- ball-jointed body with straight wrists, beautiful antique dress, bonnet, pink kid shoes with rosettes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: F. 10 G. Comments: Gaultier, circa 1880. Value Points: rare to find large size of the early block letter bebe, with fabulous bisque and painting, original body and body finish.
