19" (48 cm.) Thick paste porcelain shoulder head with pink tinted complexion, black sculpted hair drawn smoothly around the face into short uniform finger curls all around, painted upper glancing blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, single stroke black brows, accented nostrils of upturned rounded nose, closed mouth with pert smile, wooden body with shapely defined elongated waist, dowel- jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, porcelain lower arms and legs with attached dowel-inserts, painted orange shoes, along with early dress. Condition: early hairline on right front shoulder plate, left arm reglued at wrist. Comments: Germany, circa 1860. Value Points: appealing early facial model on rare articulated wooden body.
