18" (46 cm.) Thick paste porcelain shoulder head with oval face and elongated strong throat, black sculpted hair arranged with three finger curls at each side of face, back hair in coiled braided chignon, large blue upper glancing painted eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, black arched brows, aquiline nose with accented nostrils, closed mouth with well-shaped lips, muslin body, porcelain lower legs, wearing early cotton plaid dress, undergarments. Condition: small corner broken off left back shoulder plate, left leg restored, few paint rubs on hair.. Marks: 10 (inside shoulders). Comments: circa 1850. Value Points: beautiful early model with very expressive features.
