Poured beeswax shoulder head of adult woman with slender face, elongated throat with defined hollow, small blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, strongly shaped nose with accented nostrils, closed mouth, pierced ears, original brunette mohair wig in elegant coiffure, muslin stitch-jointed body, paper mache hands. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: English, circa 1885. Value Points: strong portrayal of elegant adult woman with antique silk taffeta gown with fringe trim, embroidered blouse, undergarments, shoes.
