17" (44 cm.) Poured wax shoulder head turned slightly to the right, cobalt blue glass inset eyes, tinted eye liner and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with pouty expression, inserted hair, soft muslin body, poured wax arms and legs with bare feet. Condition: generally excellent, hair a bit sparse. Comments: Montanari type, circa 1880. Value Points: beautiful doll whose brilliant blue eyes beautifully match her original blue woolen dress with lace trim, original matching undergarments, stockings, blue leather shoes with silk ribbons, silk and lace bonnet.
