10" (25 cm) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, brush stroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body, muslin chemise, original Jumeau (resoled) shoes and socks, dress included. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 1 (head, and artist's check mark) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body) Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1885. Value Points: creamy bisque contrasts the dark brown eyes on the petite bebe.
