Description
13" (33 cm.) h. The two-part wooden folding screen features beveled glass windows in each panel, and is finished on one side with bronzed gold paint decorated with borders of flowers and still life arrangements, one featuring artist palette and easel; the back side has gold painted finish and tapestry fitting. Excellent condition, small repair to top of one frame, hinge marks suggest a third panel may be lacking. The screen is painted by the artist J.d. Hennezel. Late 1800s.
