18" (46 cm.) Pale bisque swivel head on kid-lined bisque shoulder plate, blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid-over-wooden body with shapely torso, dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, bisque arms from below the elbows. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Pierre Francois Jumeau, circa 1875. Value Points: very beautiful poupee with superb antique wig, rare wooden body style with bisque hands, wonderful antique gown, blouse, undergarments, straw hat, leather shoes.
