Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate with modeled bosom and shoulder blades, brown glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, open mouth with hole for rubber nursing tip, accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, kid bebe body with gusset- jointing, bisque arms from below the elbows. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Bru Jne 2 (head and shoulder plate). Comments: Bebe Teteur, deposed by Bru, circa 1883, with original metal screw at back of head connecting to rubber ball inside head that activates the nursing action. Value Points: beautiful petite bebe has choice bisque, wonderful near mint body and wears original white pique baby costume with cutwork details, matching bib and bonnet.
