Description
5 1/2" (14 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque torso, nearly solid dome, cobalt blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted dark brown ankle boots, silk costume. Condition: generally excellent, tiniest flake at right arm stringing hole. Marks: 0 (head). Comments: French, circa 1882. Value Points: most unusual expressive features enhanced by all-around painted lashes, minutely feathered brows.
