17" (44 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass side- glancing flirty eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes, slightly feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, French composition and wooden body with clockwork mechanism in torso, one piece arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1039 Germany Simon & Halbig 7 1/ 2 (doll) R.D. (key). Comments: Roullet et Decamps, circa 1890, when keywound the doll "walks" by moving feet up and down, eyes flirt. Value Points: pretty doll with choice bisque, antique wig and costume.
