Description
17" (44 cm.) Bisque shoulder head of round-faced doll with long blonde sculpted curls peeking from beneath a blue sculpted scarf that encloses her hair and drapes onto shoulder plate, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, muslin stitch-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Alt, Beck and Gottschalk, circa 1880. Value Points: beautiful doll with very fine detail of sculpting, rare blue scarf detail and glass eyes, wonderful antique white pique gown.
