12" (31 cm.) Paper mache shoulder head with black sculpted hair drawn smoothly over the ears and looped into a tight knotted chignon at back of head, painted brown eyes, eyeliner, brows, closed mouth, accented lips, slender kid body, wooden limbs, (frail) antique black silk costume, undergarments. Condition: very good, nose rub. Comments: Germany, circa 1850. Value Points: especially appealing face with large brown eyes, rare coiffure.
