Description
4 1/2" (11 cm.) Of fine white porcelain the shoulder head portrays an adult lady with slender oval face, elongated throat, light brown painted and sculpted hair in deep waves looped over the ears into a coiled bun at the back of head, painted facial features, light blue upper glancing eyes, red eyeliner, brown painted brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (KPM blue crossed swords symbol) W 7 35. Comments: Konigliche Porzellanmanufaktur (KPM), model W7a, circa 1845. Value Points: rare model with expressive features, exquisite painting including shaded detail of light brown hair.
