Bisque shoulder head with blonde sculpted hair in vertical curls across the forehead and framed by a wide braid and a blue hair ribbon with bow, ringlet curls down the back of head and a stray ringlet curl at either side of the back neck, sculpted pierced ears, cobalt blue glass inset eyes, tiny painted lashes, feathered brows, dark eyeliner, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, painted necklace, muslin stitch-jointed body, bisque lower limbs, painted brown boots. Condition: generally excellent, some body patching, left boot reglued. Comments: Germany, circa 1880.
