13" (33 cm.) Paper mache shoulder head with black sculpted hair in center part, looped behind the sculpted ears and cascading in arranged finger curls onto the shoulder plate, painted facial features, slender kid body, wooden lower limbs, painted flat red shoes, nicely costumed in brown taffeta, undergarments. Condition: very good, some typical rubs, mold line separation on right side of head. Comments: Germany, circa 1840. Value Points: original finish, well sculpted details includes elegant nose, ears, defined chin.
