9" (23 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with black sculpted hair combed away from face, behind sculpted ears, captured by head band, stippling details around the face, painted facial features, small bright blue eyes, muslin stitch- jointed body, porcelain lower limbs, painted purple luster boots. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1870, the doll features a fancy coiffure, rare early boot color, and wonderful antique lace gown.
