28" (71 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, brown glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, lushly-painted lashes, brushstroked brows, rose-blushed eyeshadow, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, separately-modeled pierced ears, brunette human hair over cork pate, French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows, hips and knees, lovely antique costume and bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 10 (and artist checkmarks) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1880. Value Points: rare large size poupee with lustrous patina of complexion, especially sturdy original body.
