17" (44 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with oval shaped face, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, sculpted fancy bodice with ruffles and tucks and decorated with painted pink ribbons, black painted necklace with jewel, pierced ears, brunette human hair over cork pate, muslin stitch-jointed body with leather arms, silk gown and undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: probably Alt, Beck and Gottschalk, circa 1880. Value Points: rarity factors include glass eyes, jewelry, and fancy bodice.
