Description
16" (41 cm.) Solid domed pink tinted bisque socket head, painted blue intaglio eyes with large black pupils and white eye dots, red and black upper eyeliner, short stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, flocked hair, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 6 6894 Germany (head) (holz-masse stamp on body). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912 with original signed body by Dressel. Value Points: fine bisque and sculpting, original body and body finish, wonderful antique velvet costume.
