4 1/2" (11 cm.) Of thick-paste porcelain with pink-tinted complexion, portraying an adult lady with slender oval face, elongated throat, brown painted and sculpted hair in deep waves looped over the ears into a coiled bun at the back of head, slightly modeled bosom, painted facial features, blue upper glancing eyes, red eyeliner, black painted brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth. Condition: generally excellent, paint flakes on bun, nose rub. Marks: (artist's signature inside head) Comments: attributed to Royal Copenhagen, circa 1845. Value Points: rare model with expressive features, pleasing complexion, brown hair.
