15" (38 cm.) Terra cotta head of man with brown sculpted neatly trimmed hair, sculpted beard and moustache, small brown enamel eyes, sculpted wrinkles, ears, blushed detail, hemp-wrapped armature body with terra cotta hands and lower legs. Condition: generally excellent, two fingers broken. Comments: Neopolitan, early 19th century. Value Points: excellent detail of sculpting and fine original painting, original silk costume is well detailed.
