11" (28 cm.) Pink tinted bisque socket head, small blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with downcast pouty lips,blonde mohair wig with side braids, composition and wooden ball- jointed body, wearing pretty aqua silk dress, undergarments, socks, white kid shoes. Condition: very faint 3/4" hairline from back crown rim, otherwise excellent. Marks: 6970 1 Germany (head) Holz-masse (and winged sceptre mark on torso). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1915. Value Points: appealing wistful faced child with soft matte complexion, original signed body with superb condition, original wig.
