Pressed bisque swivel head with very plump lower face, on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate with modeled bosom and shoulder blades, blue glass enamel inset eyes, thick black eyeliner, painted lashes, incised eyeliner, brush stroked feathered brows, mauve blushed eye shadow, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid gusset-jointed bebe body with bisque arms below the elbows, sculpted hands and fingers. Condition: generally excellent, two fingers restored. Marks: 6 (head and right shoulder) Bru Jne (left shoulder). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, circa 1882, a rare transitional model of circle/dot and classic Bru Jne.
