12" (31 cm.) Solid dome porcelain shoulder head with modeled arm holes, bald pate, painted facial features, blue side-glancing eyes, black and red upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, closed mouth, pert smile, porcelain lower torso with defined belly roll, porcelain lower arms and legs, bare feet, original muslin upper arms, midriff, and thighs, non-working bellows crier in midriff. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1860. Value Points: rare little fellow with appealing expression, all- original body, is seated in early wooden chair, owns an early fancy green velvet boy's suit with cutwork trim.
