25" (63 cm.) Paper mache shoulder head with rounded facial shape and very thick throat, black sculpted hair in center-part drawn behind the well-sculpted ears into long finger curls that cascade onto the shoulders, black glass "flirty" eyes, painted brows, nostrils and lips of closed mouth, muslin stitch-jointed body, leather arms, wearing antique rose cotton dress with unusual soutache embroidery, undergarments, leather slippers. Condition: very good, some light typical lines. Comments: Germany, circa 1865. Value Points: most appealing childlike coiffure enhanced by mischievous action of rare flirty eyes that function well.
