Porcelain shoulder head with black sculpted hair waved away from face into elaborate long curls, clasped by large modeled bow at back of head, painted facial features, large blue eyes, muslin body, porcelain lower limbs, black painted shoes, silk costume. Excellent condition, black "beauty spot" on left cheek. Germany, circa 1870. An elegant lady of stature.
