14" (36 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner encircles the eye sockets, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, unpierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French kid fashion body with gusset jointing. Condition: generally excellent, body very firm and clean albeit baby finger on left hand worn. Marks: Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1878. Value Points: very appealing diminutive size enhanced by vivid blue eyes, choice bisque, signed body, beautiful antique costume.
