Includes 2 1/2" tortoise shell necessaire with bronze frame and trim, containing tiny gilt framed scissors and needlecase resting in fitted velvet frame (thimble missing); leather traveling necessaire, 2", with gilt and silver trim, hinging open to reveal tiny bone sewing implements (awl, needlecase and thimble) and stork-shaped tiny scissors; and 3" wood-framed fan with hand-painted paper panels and lace edging. Excellent condition. French, circa 1865.
