Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate with emphatically modeled bosom, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils, shapely kid torso cut to accommodate bosom, kid upper arms, bisque arms to above the elbows with shapely fingers, outlined finger nails, modeled left bent elbow, very shapely bisque legs from knees with sculpted heeled shoes, holes in base of each heel for posing on stand. Condition: generally excellent, tip of right ring finger chipped off. Comments: Radiguet & Cordonnier who deposed this "Poupee-Statuette" in 1880, designed to display theatrical costumes and high couture designs; the luxury model was made for a few years only and few examples exist. Value Points: rare poupee with original body, sculpted shoes, superb body model, along with extremely rare original stockings and leather shoe tops designed to fit over the tops of the shoes, and with antique brown woolen two piece suit, velvet toque, undergarments.
