and torso,bald pate,hand-painted facial features
with upper glancing eyes,wide beaming smile,red
suit,stitch-jointed long floppy arms and
legs,stitch-shaped shoes,applied white
collar,black bow tie,decorative buttons,beret.
Condition: very good,slight fading. Comments:
Possibly Rees Davis toy and novelty of
Chicago,circa 1921,which advertised a cloth
Humpty Dumpty with hand-painted features. Value
Points: delightful and imaginative cloth doll
with hand-painted detail.
